The main focus of the business has been Large square baling, hay making and transport of hay and machinery. With over 20 years of hay making in large square bales SunUp Contractors have the necessary experience to get the job done.

Our main service is throughout all of south and central Queensland and northern New South Wales, however we are happy to travel to all areas to view and quote on potential work opportunities. We believe in having modern machinery so the job can be done with a minimum of hassles and break downs, and we are investing in new gear every year.

We now have three balers available to have more capacity during busy periods. With two high capacity mowers with steel roller conditioners -ideal for conditioning tough forage sorghum stems, and a top modern baler we can get the job done before that next rain event. We can also stack, load and transport hay, either to a shed, storage pad or over long distances.

We operate two 45 foot dropdeck trailers set up for hay, cotton and general transport. This configuration carries 82 8x4x3′ hay or straw bales which equates to 40% more than flattop trailers. It will also transport 12 cotton round bales.

This configuration makes it a very efficient and cost effective way to transport cotton and hay.
